Everyone wants to know how to fall asleep instantly. Some people fall into a deep sleep every night though because they are tired and have done hard physical work all day. No one wants to be in bed for hours trying to sleep. They often toss and turn and their mind thinks of a thousand things to do and yet they know their body is tired and the next day they will suffer. It not only is soothing, it makes it possible for the person to close their eyes and slip into dream land in a short amount of time.
Sometimes doing something boring will cause someone to go to sleep. Reading a dull book or doing crossword puzzles that are difficult will often allow the mind to relax enough to fall instantly asleep. Never get involved in an action movie that will cause the mind to go wild with thoughts. A good book that is hard to put down will also have the opposite effect. Save those things for earlier in the evening. Bed time should only be for sleeping.
A nightly routine will often help with sleeping. Take a shower or warm bath and then have a cup of hot chocolate. Read one chapter of a boring book and then turn off the lights. Never leave the TV on because it will not only wake someone up, it will cause flashing lights in the room which will tend to make the eyes react and cause someone to stay awake.
Falling asleep should never be dreaded. This should be a welcome relief and with some careful planning it is possible to fall asleep just like a new baby every night.
